Thank you for visiting my online digital resume and professional portfolio. Please take a look around to get to know me!
On an average day, I wear many hats as the project manager for Carolina Ear & Hearing Clinic, PC, an ear subspecialist clinic; for Carolina Ear Research Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to offering innovative continued medical education to local and regional doctors focusing on hearing healthcare; and for Camp Woodbine, a nonprofit day camp for hearing-impaired children.
I am the owner and founder of jgfairytales Freelance Services, where I offer editorial freelancing services for professional and emerging authors from around the globe.
I am also attaining my Master’s in Public Relations at Kent State University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I am a firm believer that there’s always more to learn. I plan to utilize this degree to further my knowledge of public relations in multiple industries other than non-profit and healthcare, which is where I currently have the most experience. I also wish to broaden my knowledge of reputation and brand management, which is the PR industry niche I’d like to pursue my career in.
I have a broad experience in project management, proofreading, copy editing, technical and creative writing, event planning, social media coordination, PR campaign logistics and brand awareness in consumer, corporate and non-profit industries.
I know how to manage my time wisely with a variety of projects, and my day-to-day activities are a great example. Another great example is how I was able to handle three different campaigns while also being a full-time undergraduate student with a part-time job. Check out more about me to find out how.
I aim to broaden my horizons in the Raleigh-Durham area, where I can add fuel to an aspiring company thanks to my many passions.
